Our story
Named for a reweaver.
re·weav·ing
- The fine craft of restoring damaged fabric by re-creating its weave, thread by thread, until the repair disappears into the whole.
- Our meaning: restoring the homes women and children return to, so what was worn becomes whole again, and a new life can be woven in.
“reweaving isn't patching. It's rebuilding the fabric, thread by thread, until it's whole again.”
reweaving is named for our founder Courtney's grandmother, who worked her whole life as a professional reweaver. She took damaged fabric and restored it with patience and skill, until it was whole and beautiful again.
Courtney brings years of interior design, renovation coordination, and project management to the same idea, applied to homes. Women and children starting over deserve more than a place to stay. They deserve a home worthy of what comes next.
